Amazing what illustrators can do, on first glance, I wouldn’t expect these “photographs” to be fake. Some of them look even better than 3d generated character art. You’ll find a nice collection of vector drawn illustrations from different artists all over the globe
In my effort to search for some Zbrush 3 tutorials, I stumbled across this huge collection of tutorials. And it has both 3d and 2d tutorials. An amazing resource and since it’s open to the public, you can submit tutorials and get rewarded at the same time.
I just found this really cool art blog, the great thing about this site is that it dwells deeper into the thoughts and considerations of what art really is. After dousing myself in a few articles, I found myself in deep thought, contemplating what art truly is, and whether what us commercial artists perceive art as, is truly a worthwhile experience. In any case, it’s a really good read. I particularly like one post entitled Degrees of Art. And anything that gets you thinking can only be good. Do check out Artblog.net and decide for yourself.
