About

Hi and Welcome to 3dcreature.com!

This website is aimed at being a quick stop-over for digital artists to check out cool art and update themselves on news that matter. The content on this site is mostly tailored towards character art. You can also find news about the games and film industry. Let’s just say that the content has been filtered and streamlined so you can surf more in less time.

There was just too much inspirational art on the web to not gather them in one place. These are the artworks that inspire us to become better artists and we give due respect to the artists who have put their time and effort to these artworks.

There are plans ahead for 3dcreature.com in terms of better categorization of links, and perhaps more content in time to come. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the links that we have gathered and be sure to check back often.

Hello there!

I would like to thank you for doing up this fantastic website! It is a really useful resource for people such as myself, who aspires to be in character art. I have recommended my friends to this website as well.

I am a Year 2 student from NTU School of Art, Design and Media, currently pursuing a degree in Digital Animation (pioneer batch, ‘guinea pigs’ of the school, so to speak). I have chanced upon your work before and I am really impressed and inspired to work harder.

After a year on foundation, I have very much decided to pursue concept art, digital art and 3d as a career and also as a possible business venture in future with two of my buddies (actually, I am making it mandatory for myself, but currently giving myself some time to build things slowly). I have been working alot on my sketching, painting, photoshop and maya skills over the past 6 months in which I started my introduction into animation in Year 2.

I really hope you will continue to run this website for as long as you can, for I will be definitely a regular here! Thanks again and hope you have a really great 2007!

Malcolm

Hi Malcolm! I’m glad your friends and you find this site useful, it’s definitely good to know that you guys are using this site as a resource for character art. Personally, I find it really convenient when I want to look for a specific genre of art with this new layout. I have more plans ahead like artist features, modeling videos, yet this will come in time due to my current work commitment. Nonetheless, 3dcreature.com will continue to update with inspirational 3d art as well as related news.

I wish you all the best in your studies! Cheers.

Hey!
I found this site through cgsociety and I love it. You have a very narrow target audience, but you’re doing a great job! Very inspirational!

I know there are a lot of forums out there, conceptart, cgsociety, tweak etc, but one that only focus on creature sculpting and concept would be very inspirational. A small forum would be a cool thing I reckon.

I’d also love to read some bi-weekly (or something) feature/column/article about art from a character sculpting point of view. Tips, ideas, thoughts, inspiration, etc.

Thanks,

~B
