Amazing what illustrators can do, on first glance, I wouldn’t expect these “photographs” to be fake. Some of them look even better than 3d generated character art. You’ll find a nice collection of vector drawn illustrations from different artists all over the globe
Amazing what technology can do these days. This video pretty much sums up where photorealism in CG is heading towards to. The question you can start asking, will there be a need for CG modelers to model photorealistic human models? Already, scanning human actors/actresses is a common thing in the film industry.
