Peter Konig and Massive Black have just wrapped up a Creature Sculpting DVD. In this DVD Peter Konig brings his 20 years of industry experience to the table as he shares his techniques for creating creature sculptures. Working from orthographic views Peter walks the viewer through the entire sculptural process from building the armature all the way to adding the final touches of detail. Also included is a tour of the artist’s studio and two mini-lessons focusing on different approaches to surface detail.

AlienThink’s The Structure of Man is a series of human anatomy training videos spanning 5 dvds making a total of 43 hours worth of video training. Extremely concise and covers a wide range of topics regarding anatomy.

I’n not entirely sure if this is relevant to the content with have going on at 3dcreature.com. But it is weird enough to warrant a post. Check out this CNN article of a frilled shark found in Japan, there’s also some pictures as well as a video of it alive, which is rare according to analysts. Really cool stuff and it’s just one click away.
